Arranging them. Rearranging them. Choosing the right ones. Challenging the wrong ones. Stringing them together to captivate, educate, motivate, communicate.

Naturally, I built a career in content and communications.

I’ve honed my skills on creative agency, in-house marketing and state government communications teams. But my journalism roots will always influence how I work: question everything, check and double-check for accuracy, meet (or beat) deadlines, and tell a great story.

Most recently, I've brought that approach to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, where I edit long-form reports, tell employee stories, and use search data to help Fiscal Notes, the agency's flagship publication, reach more readers.

I live in Austin, Texas, with my husband, school-age child and Boston Terrier. I love spending time outdoors, traveling and cheering on my Texas Longhorns.
